Who would have imagined that town benefactor Charles Eckhart was not happy how the citizens of Auburn were “abusing” his gift of the library’s beautiful historic fountain? Or, that Auburn’s last historic school building is a great example of Art Deco architecture? Join DeKalb Historian John Bry to learn about these and other colorful stories as he leads a historic walking tour of the Eckhart Historic District. The neighborhood surrounding the library contains a wealth of fascinating stories and architecture of the Classic City.  Here is a great chance to learn all about them.

Free and open to the public. Please register online or at the Information Desk, 925-2414 extension 120.
