Cookie Decorating Contest
Tuesday, March 28; 1 PM-3 PM
Eckhart Public Library invites all ages to stop in and decorate cookies to enter in the cookie decorating contest. Test out the new cookie press and frosting tip set that will soon be available for checkout. All items will be provided by Eckhart Public Library. Materials will be available at a first-come, first-serve basis.

Metal Detecting for Beginners
Saturday, April 1; 1 PM-2 PM
Members of the Fort Wayne Metal Detectors will be at Eckhart Public Library for a metal detecting demonstration. Come try Eckhart Public Library’s new metal detector soon available to check out.

Need books? Our catalog is available to search what we have in our collection. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Contact us, and we can help! We can even get books from other libraries sent to EPL for you to check out.

Databases

Doing research? We have a lot of resources available on our website. Both Science in Context and Biography in Context are fantastic for helping research people and topics. The Testing & Education Reference Center is also great to take practice tests for AP classes, PSATs, SATs, ACTs, and more!

Computers & Printing

The Children’s Department has 5 desktops available for students in K-5,  and The Teen Library has 6 desktops and 8 laptops available for students in grades 6-12 to use. The entire library campus also has free WiFi for students who have their own device they’d like to use.

Students can also scan and print documents at the Main and Teen Library. It is $0.15 for each black and white copy and $0.50 for each color copy. There is no charge for scanning.

Need a Library Card?

Patrons under the age of 18 need to have a library card in order to use computers at the library. Student cards are available for $10 a year are available for students outside of the city of Auburn or Union Township. Computer Use Only cards are also available for no additional charge.
